SPARROW CHARITY

   Sparrow Foundation is a non-governmental organisation founded by a bunch of inspired youth striving towards the  mission of eradicating starvation and malnutrition in India. Its headquarters is  in Bengaluru, India.

   As per the report jointly prepared by the International Food Policy Research Institute and NGOs, India stands 55th on global hunger index. Its hunger status remains classified as "serious". When the luxurious half live amidst the grand abundance, the other half struggles to live  by the leftovers falling from the tables of the rich. The sunken eyes and hollow tummies is a pertinent  challenge to the humanity.

    Many govt, non- govt organisations have made their contributions in reducing the poverty rate in India; remembering them with gratitude.But much work still needs to be done. So that we could see more & more smiling faces with lifted eyes.

    Sparrow Foundation is a small, but long stride taken by young minds with an intention to create a better life for the poor and the needy.

   We, the sparrows spread our wings to ignite the minds of millions who really don't care about the leftovers they waste at each time. We are intented to make them aware about the fact that there are so many people out there who finds these leftovers tasty and delicious.
